Gubernur Seriusi Kasus Penikaman Wartawan
Keluarga Almarhum Ryo sangat berduka Manado-Menyusul kasus penikaman yang mengakibatkan tewasnya Ryo Lingguto, wartawan Harian Metro (Komentar Group), Minggu (25/11) dinihari, disikapi secara serius oleh Gubernur Sulut Dr Sinyo Harry Sarundajang (SHS).
Melalui staf khusus bidang komunikasi publik, Michael Umbas, Gubernur menyatakan, sangat prihatin atas kejadian kasus ini. “Tadi pagi saya langsung menerima info ini. Ini cukup memilukan karena dilakukan secara brutal kepada seorang jurnalis. Saya menyampaikan ungkapan belasungkawa kepada korban,”kata gubernur.
Selaku gubernur, SHS kemudian mendesak aparat penegak hukum agar mengusut tuntas kasus ini.”Penegakan hukum yang maksimal mutlak dilakukan bukan saja karena korban adalah jurnalis, tapi sebagai langkah menimbulkan efek jera untuk mereduksi aksi kriminaltas berikutnya,”tegas gubernur.
Gubernur kemudian mengimbau kepada masyarakat, agar Siskamling betul-betul dijalankan.”Kepada jajaran pemerintah kota Manado, ini jadi salah satu bahan evaluasi untuk Kamtibmas dari sekian banyak peristiwa kriminalitas yang terjadi”ingatnya.
